Geosyntec Consultants is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team supporting water and wastewater projects across multiple sites. The role involves design, startup, commissioning, and field support, with opportunities for remote work at the discretion of the company. Candidates should have a strong background in electrical systems, safety analyses, and project management, and be prepared to travel to client facilities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited) required.
Experience in design, construction, and operation of process engineering projects.
Knowledge of NFPA/IEEE guidelines and publications.
Experience with electrical safety and arc flash analyses is preferred.
U.S. citizenship required for client contracts.
Responsibilities
Develop and review electrical designs and power systems.
Perform load flow, short circuit, and protective device coordination studies.
Prepare drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
Conduct site surveys and client meetings for project scoping.
Manage multiple projects and mentor junior staff.
