Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support electrical design and automation within water and wastewater projects. The candidate will work on design, pilot testing, startup, and commissioning across multiple U.S. offices with potential remote work at the Company's discretion.

The role requires strong knowledge of NFPA/IEEE guidelines, 7+ years in electrical engineering for process projects, and willingness to travel to client sites. U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electrical engineering for process plants.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA and IEEE codes and standards.
• Experience with Electrical Safety and Arc Flash analyses.
• Ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• U.S. citizenship for federal client projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems per specs, codes, and standards.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, and protective device coordination studies.
• Produce and update single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specs.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections of electrical and control systems.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.
