Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (required).
• Professional Registration (PE) preferred.
• 7–8+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience in design, construction, and operation of process projects.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, IEEE guidelines and applicable codes.
• Experience with electrical safety analyses and arc flash documentation (preferred).
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply experience and problem-solving for electrical design and automation support.
• Design and develop electrical systems per codes and standards; read P&IDs; prepare docs.
• Perform load flow studies, short circuit analysis, and device coordination.
• Create one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other docs.
• Conduct site surveys and client meetings; support startup and commissioning.
• Manage multiple projects and liaise with clients and regulatory personnel.
• Support business development and staff mentoring.
• Drive company vehicles to sites as needed.
