Job summary

ms consultants, inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for water and wastewater projects across the region. The role emphasizes hybrid work arrangements and collaboration with engineers, drafters, and managers to deliver sustainable infrastructure.

The candidate should bring experience in power distribution, SCADA, and electrical calculations, with a preference for Water/Wastewater exposure and PE licensure within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent
• Experience with power distribution design and electrical calculations
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, LEED standards
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit design tools
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months

Responsibilities

• Plan electrical systems for water/wastewater facilities using AutoCAD and Revit
• Coordinate design elements with other disciplines (architecture, structures, environmental)
• Define equipment layouts and protection requirements for distribution stations
• Interpret client requirements and develop distribution station plans and specs
• Collaborate on system layout, SCADA controls, automation, and instrumentation
• Prepare electrical calculations for power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems
