Job summary
Arcadis is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in the water-wastewater industry to join our Resilience Water team. This hybrid role can be based in any of our Ohio locations or Detroit, MI, and focuses on electrical power distribution, controls, lighting, and communications to support projects for the Water Division.
The primary focus is to provide technical and design consulting services with emphasis on electrical systems, to deliver resilient water infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- PE license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Arcadis’ main client contact for electrical needs on water/wastewater projects.
- Lead design and coordination for power distribution, lighting, and controls.
- Develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, and electrical plans.
- Provide engineering services during construction, review submittals and shop drawings, respond to RFIs.
- Conduct field inspections to ensure safety and conformance with design.
- Perform electrical system analysis using ETAP, SKM Power Tools, and similar software.
- Travel as required to meet project needs.
