Job summary

MIKEL, in Keyport, WA, seeks an Electrical Engineer to support multiple NUWC divisions in test, evaluation and life-cycle engineering for undersea and naval systems. This role involves hands-on design, integration, testing and deployment of complex electrical/electronic hardware.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical/Electronic engineering and 4+ to 7+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for DoD/naval systems knowledge and secret clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronic engineering from an accredited university.
4+ years of electrical engineering experience for complex systems (journeyman).
7+ years for senior level; MS may substitute for two years.

Responsibilities

Support four NUWC divisions in Keyport with TT&E, maintenance, fielding and operational readiness.
Provide engineering support for test, evaluation, repair and life-cycle support of naval systems.
Involve design, development, integration, testing and deployment of complex electrical/electronic systems.
