Job summary

The role focuses on integrating electrical, mechanical, embedded controls, and software engineering across product generations. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design PCBs, define engineering specifications, and ensure robust documentation and design standard adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years.
• Proficient in Spice modeling and analysis.
• Digital circuit design with microcontrollers and SPI/I2C/Serial protocols.
• DC-DC power supply design and component selection.
• Cable design and ability to prototype and debug circuits.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop new generation control solutions and analyze manufacturing challenges.
• Develop new PCBs for system and robot controllers and write engineering design specifications.
• Present technical findings and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Ensure documentation, processes, and design standards are followed.
• Work with mechanical and software engineers on complete product solutions.
• Prototype or test in Brooks labs as needed.
