Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to join our semiconductor automation team. You will help develop new generation controls, design PCBs for system and robot controllers, and contribute to engineering design specifications in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities include presentations, cross‑functional problem solving, documentation, and ensuring design standards are followed. Occasional travel is expected as part of a dynamic lab‑centric culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Masters Degree with 3+ years.
• Spice modeling and analysis, or equivalent.
• Digital circuit design with Microcontrollers and communication protocols (SPI/I2C/Serial).
• DC-DC power supply design.

Responsibilities

• Develop new generation controls solutions and analyze complex field/manufacturing challenges.
• Develop PCBs for system and robot controllers and create Engineering Design Specifications.
• Deliver technical presentations and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Ensure documentation, processes and engineering design standards are followed.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers on complete product solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and hands-on prototyping/testing in labs.
