Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks an Electrical Engineer in Roy, Utah, to join the Sentinel Launch Systems Infrastructure Facility FED team. You will design, analyze, and document electrical power generation, distribution, and control aspects for rocket-related ground systems.

The candidate should possess a STEM degree, DoD Secret Clearance eligibility, and hands-on experience with power systems and CAD/PLM tools. The role offers a 9/80 schedule and relocation support may be available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval.
• Experience with electrical and power-systems design and analysis, control systems, and/or engine/generator subsystems or components.
• Knowledgeable with Siemens Teamcenter PLM or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable utilizing power-system design and/or analysis software tools such as ETAP, PSS/E, SKM (PTW), Easy Power, PSCAD or equivalent.
• Comfortable with understanding industry codes, standards, specifications, and mil-specs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc).

Aufgaben

• Support design requirements for electrical power generation, conversion and distribution systems, and circuit protective requirements for ground systems.
• Attend internal program, customer and supplier meetings to provide progress updates.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with diverse assignments and collaborative teams.
• Coordinate between facility electrical design and other integration teams.
• Document electrical systems design for the weapon system and coordinate work products.
• Possibly perform research and systems integration in electrical or electro-mechanical systems and power systems.
• Demonstrate leadership and strong interpersonal skills to understand system interdependencies.
