Job summary

DLR Group seeks an Electrical Engineer to contribute to the electrical design of renewable energy projects from schematics through construction administration. You will prepare detailed drawings, perform calculations, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project objectives.

The role emphasizes designing for sustainability, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint reduction, while supporting a four-day in-office schedule with some Friday remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (ABET accredited) in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 0-2+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer.
• Familiar with electrical power and lighting design in buildings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project objectives and documentation policies.
• Develop electrical designs from concept through construction.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical design with other disciplines and stakeholders on renewable energy projects.
