Job summary
Zero Zone in Ramsey, MN is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical control systems for commercial and industrial refrigeration products. You will research, design, develop, plan, and select components, working with production teams and customers to deliver industry-leading solutions.
Under supervision, you will create electrical schematics and panel layouts, ensure compliance with ETL/UL/NFPA NEC, and support field service with troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
- 0-3 years experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience with panel layout, schematic design, ladder logic, and testing preferred.
- SolidWorks Electrical experience preferred; ERP software and Office tools beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical control systems and generate schematics and panel layouts.
- Specify components for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
- Research and analyze data to determine feasibility of designs.
- Coordinate with sales, customers, and onsite manufacturing to meet specs.
- Develop production documentation and drawings; ensure compliance with ETL/UL/NFPA NEC.
