Zero Zone in Dyersville, IA is seeking an Electrical Control Tester to terminate and route wires and perform electrical function tests on refrigeration systems per drawings and customer specs.

The role requires an AA degree or equivalent with 1–3 years electrical experience and familiarity with high voltage up to 480V. You will use hand/power tools, read blueprints, and collaborate across departments to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent; 1-3 years electrical experience preferred.
• Experience with high voltage up to 480V required.
• Prompt and regular attendance essential.
• Comfortable with hand/power tools; willing to learn.
• Experience reading blueprints and procedures; measuring tools used.
• Detail- and quality-oriented; dependable and self-motivated.
• Regular standing, lifting up to 45 lbs; vision abilities present.

Responsibilities

• Terminate and route wires; conduct electrical function tests per drawings and specs.
• Coordinate electrical layout per design documents and wiring schematics.
• Perform electrical processes to meet Zero Zone standards.
• Determine mounting of major components (controllers, transformers, panels, VFDs).
• Wire pressure switches, solenoid valves, compressors, and other devices.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet goals.
• Assist in training additional team members.
• Maintain a positive work environment and reinforce teamwork.
• Interact professionally with departments, vendors, and customers.
