Job summary

Zero Zone Refrigeration Llc in Ramsey, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will develop preventive maintenance plans, assist with safety inspections, and support outside contractors while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent and 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, with strong mechanical and electrical skills, and solid computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read manuals, specifications, blueprints and schematics.
• Willing to adhere to safety standards and wear PPE.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair shop equipment to minimize downtime.
• Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
• Replace or repair machine belts.
• Bends and cuts conduit and wire; drills holes for electrical connections.
• Maintain records for shop equipment and repairs.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program; assist with safety inspections.
• Support outside contractors for safety inspections and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly shop and promote teamwork.
• Assist with production tasks as needed.
