Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design and execution of utility, industrial, and commercial projects. You will perform calculations, prepare reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance and safe operation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Architectural Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with potential travel to support project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of post-education experience in electrical engineering or design.
• Knowledge of NEC, ICC, IECC and related codes.
• Experience with infrastructure planning, design and construction management.
• Ability to coordinate with regulators and understand requirements.
• Proficiency with technical writing, Excel, and design software.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze data for procurement packages and NEC/NFPA standards.
• Review third-party design documents, procurement lists, and project plans.
• Perform electrical engineering work for low/medium voltage systems.
