Job summary
Hanson Professional Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its team. You will design power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems for airports, commercial, governmental, and industrial facilities, while coordinating with CAD/Revit technicians and other engineers.
Travel will be required to meet project needs. The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, PE or ability to obtain within six months, and 5+ years in consulting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Licensure as a professional engineer in Electrical Engineering or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
- Minimum of 5 years in the consulting professional services industry, Electrical Engineering discipline.
- Experience with electrical construction drawings, specifications, submittals review and construction administration.
Responsibilities
- Design power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems for airports, commercial, governmental, industrial facilities.
- Coordinate and interface with CAD/Revit technicians and other engineers.
- Perform field observations and communicate effectively with contractors.
- Develop and review electrical construction drawings and specifications.
- Lead project tasks and manage multiple design projects.
