Job summary

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Orlando to join a team serving local and nationwide clients.

You will design power distribution, lighting and low voltage systems for airports, commercial, governmental, and industrial facilities, with occasional travel to meet project requirements. You will lead CAD/Revit technicians, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure code compliance and quality in every project phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensure as a professional engineer in Electrical Engineering or ability to obtain within six months.
• Minimum of 5 years in consulting professional services in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with electrical construction drawings, specifications, submittals review and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting and low voltage systems for airport, commercial, governmental and industrial facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors and field conditions; oversee CAD/Revit technicians and other engineers.
• Support diverse projects including DOTs, rail, DoD, and educational facilities.
• Travel as required to meet project needs.
• Involvement in fire alarm, nurse call, telephone, multimedia, CCTV and security systems integration.
