Job summary
Hanson Professional Services Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer to join our team serving local and nationwide clients, including DOTs, rail, DoD, and industrial facilities.
You will design power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems for airports, commercial, governmental, and industrial projects with periodic travel. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, PE licensure or ability to obtain within six months, and 5+ years in consulting electrical engineering, with proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- PE licensure or ability to obtain licensure within six months is expected.
- Minimum of 5 years in the consulting electrical engineering field.
- Experience with electrical construction drawings, specifications, submittals review and construction administration.
Responsibilities
- Design power distribution, lighting and low voltage systems for various facilities.
- Coordinate with contractors and CAD/Revit technicians.
- Perform power system analysis and design calculations.
- Prepare electrical construction drawings and specifications.
- Travel to meet project requirements.
