Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its Power Generation and Renewables team in Rocky Hill, CT to perform day-to-day electrical design for power facilities including simple/combined cycle, PV solar, energy storage and microgrid projects.

You will lead design teams, mentor engineers, coordinate workloads, perform calculations, and prepare specifications and reports while collaborating with HDR disciplines and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with PE license preferred or required.
• Experience in power generation design and renewables projects required.
• Strong communication and client-management abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and coordinate design teams through design phases.
• Prepare design packages, calculations and reports for generation and storage facilities.
• Mentor engineers, coordinate workloads, and liaise with clients and HDR teams.
