Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering design deliverables for large capital projects.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Experience with operations and project controls for reporting and proposal development.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design/build, and permitting processes.
• Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan, and design transmission and distribution substations and power systems.
• Prepare data and visualizations for data interpretation and presentations.
• Develop electrical calculations for loads, grounding, short circuit, and protection coordination.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates; update layouts in coordination with owners and clients.
• Lead by example in delivering high‑quality, safe solutions and mentor junior engineers.
