WSP is seeking an Early Career Electrical Engineer to join our Meridian, Idaho team. You will support substation design, data analysis, and documentation for power delivery projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 0 to 1 year of relevant post-education experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Understanding of electrical design for large capital projects.
• Familiarity with electrical construction laws, codes, and compliance practices.
• Clear communication and professional presentation with engineers and non-engineers.
• Ledger of safety practices and ability to work under supervision or in a team.
• Ability to work with basic technical writing, office software, and design tools.
• Commitment to safety, health, and company policies.

Responsabilités

• Assist with data collection, compilation, and analysis for substation components and procurement packages.
• Support design work including single line and three-line diagrams, bus and grounding design.
• Produce electrical calculations for loads, sizing, and grounding under supervision.
• Develop documentation using drawings and field logs with accuracy.
• Contribute to research, testing, and construction procedures for projects.
• Prepare deliverables that meet industry standards for safety and functionality.
