Base is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design the power electronics inside our home batteries, including inverters, BMS, and interconnect devices. You will own boards from schematic to production, bring them up on the bench, and validate them at high voltage and high current.

Collaboration with mechanical, firmware, test, and reliability teams is essential to scale to high-volume production. You will work on denser packaging, reliability testing, and DFM processes while contributing to a

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of hands-on hardware design experience preferred.
• Experience with high-voltage or power-supply design.
• PCB design and bring-up experience in a real-world project.

Mansioni

• Own board designs end-to-end: specs, architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, and validation.
• Design and run high-voltage, high-current validation on inverter, battery, and BMS hardware.
• Debug complex interactions at board and system level.
• Drive reliability and functional testing with the test and reliability teams.
• Take designs through DFM and into high-volume production with manufacturing.
