Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer, Power Distribution to lead the site’s LV/MV electrical distribution strategy at the Crossett mill. You will guide studies, maintain critical diagrams, and ensure reliability and safety across operations.

You will partner with operations, maintenance, and projects to implement improvements and support outages, commissioning, and ongoing reliability initiatives for the mill's electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience with power distribution systems in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and compliance for power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site SME for medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems.
• Lead power system studies, including arc-flash, load, and short-circuit analyses.
• Maintain and improve electrical documentation and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and projects to improve safety and reliability.
• Support electrical infrastructure projects from concept through startup and commissioning.
• Provide field engineering support during outages and construction activities.
