Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Electrical Engineer, Power Distribution to support Crossett mill operations. The role serves as the site's expert for medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution, providing leadership to ensure reliability and safety of the mill’s electrical infrastructure.

This is a technical, non hands-on role focused on system ownership and strategic improvements. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams on projects, maintain critical documentation, and develop

Qualifications

Experience supporting medium- and low-voltage power distribution in industrial settings.
Experience performing power studies (arc-flash, load, short-circuit).
Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and compliance for power distribution.
Ability to read, interpret, and maintain electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for medium- and low-voltage distribution systems across the mill.
Lead power system studies and maintain electrical standards and compliance.
Maintain and improve single-line diagrams and equipment records.
Partner with operations and maintenance to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Manage electrical/infrastructure projects from concept to startup.
