Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer to support our Muskogee, Oklahoma paper mill. You will lead reliability initiatives, develop predictive and preventive maintenance for critical electrical assets, and drive improvements that reduce downtime.

Responsibilities include RCFA leadership, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering to prioritize reliability projects and lifecycle planning.

Competenze

• Experience improving reliability, maintenance, performance, or lifecycle management of electrical equipment in industrial environments.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment failures and implementing corrective actions using RCFA, FMEA, RCM, or related methods.
• Experience developing or supporting preventative and predictive maintenance programs.

Mansioni

• Serve as site electrical reliability resource, providing leadership to improve reliability, availability, and performance of electrical systems and assets across the mill.
• Develop, implement, and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance for motors, drives, switchgear, transformers, protection, and power distribution assets.
• Lead root cause failure analyses (RCFA) and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring equipment failures.
• Use equipment history, performance data, maintenance records, and reliability metrics to identify opportunities that improve safety, reliability, and productivity.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and reliability teams to prioritize and execute reliability improvement initiatives.
• Support electrical reliability studies, condition monitoring programs, asset health assessments, and lifecycle planning activities.
• Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting complex electrical issues and develop sustainable solutions to reduce future risk.
• Maintain and improve critical electrical documentation, including single-line diagrams, equipment strategies, maintenance procedures, and standards.
• Support capital and expense projects from concept through startup, including scope development, equipment selection, design reviews, commissioning, and change management.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to improve work processes, PM programs, and precision maintenance practices.
• Support power system studies including arc-flash, coordination, short-circuit, and load analysis as needed for safe operations.
• Participate in safety initiatives, incident investigations, and continuous improvement efforts with sound engineering judgment.
