Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Toledo Mill in Toledo, Oregon seeks a Project Engineer (Electrical) to provide electrical, instrumentation and controls support in a large, integrated production environment. You'll develop design packages, coordinate external electrical engineering for larger projects, and support power distribution and PLC systems with the maintenance team.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or completion within a year), some industrial experience, and AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or completion within a year.
• Some industrial experience in a manufacturing, mill, or industrial environment.
• Experience creating and modifying electrical AutoCAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical engineering capability while supporting project managers, process controls engineers, maintenance, and reliability teams.
• Assist with electrical and instrumentation design packages for small mill projects and coordinate external electrical engineering for larger projects.
• Support mill's electrical power distribution with troubleshooting and maintenance; manage small electrical-based projects.
