Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer for the Muskogee, Oklahoma mill. You will lead electrical reliability, design and implement preventive/predictive maintenance, and drive data-driven improvements across the site to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

You will work with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to analyze failures, perform RCFA, and apply industry best practices, including arc-flash and load studies, to ensure safe and reliable plant

Formación

• Experience improving reliability, maintenance, or lifecycle management of electrical systems in industrial settings.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment failures and implementing corrective actions (RCFA, FMEA, RCM, asset criticality, or condition-based maintenance).
• Experience developing or supporting preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the site electrical reliability resource, leading improvements for electrical systems across the mill.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance for motors, drives, switchgear, transformers, and protection systems.
• Lead RCFA analyses and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Use equipment history, performance data, and reliability metrics to improve safety, reliability, and productivity.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and reliability teams to prioritize initiatives.
• Support reliability studies, condition monitoring, asset health assessments, and lifecycle planning.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and develop sustainable solutions.
• Maintain electrical documentation including single-line diagrams and maintenance procedures.
• Support capital/expense projects from concept to startup and manage changes.
• Collaborate with maintenance to improve PM programs and precision maintenance.
• Support arc-flash, coordination, short-circuit, and load studies for safe operations.
• Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement with sound engineering judgment.
