Job summary

Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC is seeking an experienced Multi-Level Electrical Engineer to ensure reliability, safety, and performance of plant electrical systems. You will oversee upgrades, troubleshooting, and safety programs across operations at the Idaho Falls site.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and experience with power distribution, arc‑flash analyses, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Experience with electrical system upgrades and reliability improvements.
Knowledge of NFPA 70E and DOE/industry standards.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical system upgrades to improve reliability and performance.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Conduct instrumentation troubleshooting including sensors, transmitters, PLC I/O, and control elements.
Develop and review SKM power system models for arc‑flash analyses.
Maintain ownership of assigned electrical systems including documentation and lifecycle management.
Support design, installation, and commissioning activities ensuring code compliance.
Evaluate system performance data and recommend modifications for safety and efficiency.
Provide technical support to maintenance, operations, and project teams.
