Job summary

Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC is seeking a Multi-Level Electrical Engineer to ensure reliability, safety, and performance of plant electrical systems at INTEC site. You will lead electrical system improvements, oversee upgrades, and drive safety programs in line with NFPA 70E and DOE standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and relevant experience; compensation depends on level (Grade 14 or Grade 17).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nuclear, mechanical, chemical, system or electrical engineering.
Grade 17 requires bachelor’s plus 6 years relevant experience; Grade 14 requires bachelor’s degree.
Multi-level posting determines placement based on depth of experience and skills.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical system upgrades to improve reliability, compliance, and performance.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
Conduct instrumentation troubleshooting including sensors, transmitters, PLC I/O.
Develop, review, and update SKM power system models for arc-flash analyses.
Maintain ownership of electrical systems, ensuring health and lifecycle management.
Support design, installation, and commissioning with codes and project requirements.
Evaluate system performance data and recommend modifications to improve safety and efficiency.
Provide technical support to maintenance, operations, and project teams.
