Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller in Georgia is seeking an Electrical Engineer, PE, to join our Design Group. You will lead electrical design for complex facilities, collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver compliant, integrated systems.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience, strong NEC knowledge, and proficiency with tools like COMcheck, SKM, AGi32, Revit and AutoCAD. Travel to sites and meetings is expected.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university and a PE license.
7+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience in design for new/build and renovations.
Strong NEC knowledge and ability to produce construction documents.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver full electrical systems including power, grounding, lighting, and fire alarm.
Develop construction documents and bidding-permitting packages.
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver integrated facility designs.
Engage with clients in meetings to align solutions with goals and constraints.
Support project opportunities through proposal development and presentations.
