Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, a leading engineering and consulting firm, seeks a Mechanical Engineer, P.E. to lead mechanical design on multi-disciplinary projects across manufacturing and industrial facilities.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, interface with clients, and deliver high-quality solutions with growth opportunities in a dynamic environment. You will design water systems, HVAC, piping, and related components, perform analyses, and supervise site investigations.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of mechanical design experience on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience in manufacturing and distribution facility mechanical design.
• ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree and PE license.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for manufacturing, distribution, and industrial facilities.
• Perform calculations, develop specifications, and oversee design work.
• Inspect installations and perform site audits; seal documents.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams and clients; travel as required.

Education

Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering (ABET accredited)

Professional Engineer (PE) license
