Qualifications

• Twelve years of architecture/engineering facilities electrical design experience.
• At least three years as an electrical engineering design manager (preferred).
• Experience developing power distribution and electrical designs for industrial facilities.
• Ability to present designs to clients.
• Ability to lead an electrical engineering design team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel for project requirements (installation/start-up/meetings).
• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support capital projects and implement solutions for clients.
• Help clients improve performance and achieve goals.
• Deliver electrical design packages for manufacturing clients.
• Lead a team of engineers and designers through all project phases.
• Develop relationships within the region and Practice vision.
• Mentor and develop the Barry-Wehmiller Design group professionals.
• Develop new electrical engagements and search for value propositions.
• Make an impact with your expertise to strengthen client relationships.
