HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design on large institutional and industrial projects. You will coordinate the electrical design team, participate in code compliance reviews, and ensure documentation stays on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis.
• Previous electrical design of buildings (lighting, power, systems).
• PE license recognized by the licensing board for the position's location (PE or P.Eng).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of the electrical design team on large institutional/industrial projects through schematic design and contract document phases.
• Establish meetings and participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Coordinate workload to complete the document on schedule.
• Provide construction contract administration as needed.
• Perform QA/QC on the work of others and mentor junior staff.
