6–10 years of engineering experience with a PE license is required. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; Texas P.E. preferred
• 6–10 years total engineering experience; 6+ years in electrical engineering for midstream energy, petrochemical, or industrial facilities
• Experience with ETAP, SKM or equivalent software
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole
• Familiar with industry codes and standards: NFPA 70, NESC, IEEE, NEMA, API RP 500, AGA XL101, Title 49 CFR Parts 190–199

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical engineering analysis like arc flash, short circuit, relay coordination, motor starting, voltage drop, and load flow using ETAP or equivalents
• Develop electrical system designs: one-line diagrams, motor control schematics, conduit schedules, grounding systems
• Size and specify electrical power distribution and protection systems
• Review process documents to ensure alignment with facility requirements
• Coordinate deliverables with multidisciplinary teams and review third-party submittals
