Fisica, Inc. in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will design, analyze, layout PCBs, and troubleshoot hardware for aerospace programs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 4+ years of related experience; Altium/Cadence tools and Costpoint ERP experience are a plus. This is an onsite role with a collaborative team and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• 4+ years in electrical/electronics product support or related experience; in lieu of a degree, 8 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select electrical components based on specs and requirements.
• PCB schematic design, layout, and troubleshooting.
• Responsible for cable harness design.
• Coordinate with systems, mechanical design, and supply chain to ensure PCB meet requirements.
• Provide analyses for power/signal integrity and ADCs/DACs.
• Develop BOMs and part lists for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Digital/FPGA teams for floor planning.
• Interface with component databases and suppliers for sourcing and obsolescence data.
• Use ERP/MRP systems (Costpoint preferred) to manage data.
• Support ECOs and related docs; assist with manufacturing issues.
