Job summary

Fisica, Inc. seeks a detail‑oriented Electrical Engineer in Simi Valley to join the Engineering team. You will design, analyze, layout PCBs, debug hardware, and support multiple aerospace programs from concept through test.

You will collaborate with systems, mechanical, and supply chain teams, manage BOMs, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in ECOs and hardware manufacturing validation. In‑office role with up to 10% travel; eligibility for future security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or related discipline with 4+ years in hardware product support, or a graduate degree with 2+ years.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, from passive to high voltage parts.
• Experience with PCB design tools (Altium/Cadence) and FPGA basics.
• ERP/MRP experience, preferably Costpoint, and BOM/part list management.
• Aerospace/defense standards and ITAR familiarity; U.S. citizenship for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select electrical components based on specs and project needs.
• Design, layout, and troubleshoot PCB schematics and cable harnesses.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, and supply chain to ensure build readiness.
• Provide power integrity, signal integrity, and mixed-signal analysis.
• Develop BOMs and manage part data; interface with vendors for sourcing.
• Support ECOs and regulatory compliance (RoHS/ITAR).
• Work with FPGA team on floor planning and IT system interfaces.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
