Job summary

Fisica, Inc. is seeking an experienced Specialist, Electrical Engineering to join the engineering team in Simi Valley.

You will design and analyze PCBs, develop hardware for Ground Based Stations and Battery Management Systems, and collaborate across systems, mechanical, and supply chain to ensure design-for-manufacture readiness. You will work with Altium/Cadence/MentorGraphics tools, support ECOs, and ensure compliance with RoHS/ITAR while coordinating with vendors to source components and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; 4+ years in electrical/electronics product support, or graduate degree with 2+ years experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical components (passive/active/electromechanical); high voltage parts
• Experience with Altium/Cadence/MentorGraphics; Costpoint experience preferred
• Familiarity with FPGAs (VHDL/Verilog) and power regulation; BOM/part list management

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select electrical components per specifications
• PCB schematic design, layout, and troubleshooting
• Design cable harnesses; liaise with systems, mechanical, and supply chain teams
• Provide power/signal integrity analysis; work with FPGA/digital teams
• Maintain BOMs and part data; support ECOs and regulatory compliance
