Job summary

Fisica, Inc. in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Senior Associate, Electrical Engineering to join the Engineering team. You will work on circuit design, board layout, debugging, and testing for aerospace programs, including Ground Based Stations and Battery Management Systems.

The role requires collaboration across disciplines, a focus on reliability and regulatory compliance, and may involve up to 10% travel. In-office work is required. A future security clearance may be required; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, including passive, active, and high‑voltage parts.
• Experience with Altium, Cadence or Mentor Graphics; AutoCAD preferred.
• Familiar with FPGAs (VHDL/Verilog) and switching regulators.
• Experience with PCB layout, BOM management, and supplier engagement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select components based on specs and project needs.
• PCB schematic design, layout, and troubleshooting.
• Develop BOMs and manage part data.
• Support ECOs and documentation updates.
• Ensure RoHS/ITAR compliance for components.
• Coordinate with systems, mechanical, and supply chain teams.
