Job summary

Genuen seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Electronics Systems Engineering team, contributing to all aspects of electronic systems development. The role focuses on hardware design, test solutions, and leadership of multi-discipline projects on-site in Albuquerque, NM.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electronics engineering, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver turnkey hardware and software for regulated industries. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or computer science is required.
• 5+ years of electronics engineering experience, including large system development.
• 2+ years leading projects and electronic hardware design and implementation.
• Proficiency with standard lab equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, DMM, spectrum analyzer).
• Experience with C++, C#, Python, LabVIEW and/or VHDL. NI hardware/software tools a plus.
• PCB design experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and serve as primary technical contact for clients.
• Design hardware, test solutions, and automated test equipment per specs.
• Develop turn-key hardware and software deliverables with the client.
• Meet project milestones and justify any schedule changes.
• Provide input on costs, concepts, and design changes.
• Mentor team members and delegate tasks to ensure progress.
