Job summary

SOC LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer to support sustainment of mission-critical facilities at Albuquerque, NM, onsite for a government client. The role requires an active Secret clearance and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Responsibilities include evaluating electrical systems, coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure proper integration in construction packages, preparing cost estimates, and conducting site inspections.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Secret clearance or be able to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Identify site electrical, civil, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection components and how they function.
• Experience planning and performing facility maintenance, improvements, or repairs.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Ability to collect, analyze and summarize data and prepare daily reports.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government clearance.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to work in office and field environments, including lift and climb tasks.
• Commitment to a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate electrical systems, loads, and generator sizing.
• Provide electrical engineering expertise and ensure proper electrical design integration.
• Collaborate with customers and project teams to define maintenance requirements.
• Perform site inspections and document findings for government records.
• Review third-party designs and cost estimates for projects up to tens of millions.
• Prepare reports and briefings to explain technical assessments.
