Job summary

Genuen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Electronics Systems Engineering team in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time, on-site role focuses on hardware design, test solutions, and project leadership for complex electronic systems.

The successful candidate will bring 10+ years of electronics experience, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to lead multi-discipline teams to deliver turnkey hardware and software solutions in regulated industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in electronics or electrical engineering is required.
• 10+ years of electronics engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading projects and hardware design.
• Experience with standard lab equipment and testing practices.
• U.S. citizenship and security clearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project and primary technical contact for the client and team.
• Plan, install, and validate test solutions per specifications.
• Develop turn-key hardware and software deliverables.
• Meet initial timelines or justify revised ones with detail.
• Advise on project costs, design concepts, and changes.
• Ensure hardware architectures are sound and tasks are delegated.
