Job summary

Vertiv Corporation in the United States seeks an Electrical Engineer to contribute to releasing best-in-class Chiller and CW Systems products. You will work in a cross-functional development group, manage multiple tasks, and solve complex problems with limited precedence.

You will support manufacturing, analyze issues, report findings, and help implement solutions. The role requires a BSEE or related degree, 3+ years in NPD, HVAC familiarity, and strong communication and project management

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
3+ years of new product development experience as an individual contributor.
Familiar with HVAC design or industrial design of a similar nature.
Excellent project management and communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

Design next generation Chiller and computer room cooling products for air and liquid cooling systems.
Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, process, production, and offering teams for design reviews and cost targets.
Perform engineering calculations to verify design requirements.
Develop solutions to complex problems with little precedence; apply ingenuity and creativity.
Identify cost reduction opportunities and contribute to cost reduction changes.
Implement product changes to solve field issues and support service.
Create and revise wiring schematics, network drawings, and panel layouts.
Work with software team to develop and verify product controls solutions.
