Job summary

Talanto seeks a Mechanical Engineering New Graduate in Seattle, WA to add hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship and growth opportunities. You will support HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design and oversight for varied building projects while collaborating with engineers, consultants, and project managers.

You will learn to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with industry standards, participating in project planning,

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and concepts for producing technical plans and specifications.
Strong technical and analytical skills in thermodynamics, psychrometrics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics as it relates to mechanical systems.
Familiarity with HVAC load calculation software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
Support project execution within budgets and cross-functional teams.
Assist with project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
Document design decisions and monitor progress.
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
Participate in quality control to ensure standards are met.
