Job summary

IMEG Corp in Columbia, SC seeks an Electrical Engineering New Grad to work with seasoned engineers on building electrical systems. You’ll gain hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship from day one.

You’ll assist with design, analysis, and implementation oversight while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Entry-level role with mentorship, training, and growth opportunities from day one.
• Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems in buildings per code and IMEG standards

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems, creating detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards
• Support engineering analysis and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings
• Interact with clients to gather project requirements and communicate technical information effectively
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication
• Work as part of a project team to support the execution of consulting projects
• Assist in project planning and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives
• Assist with documenting design decisions and client instructions while monitoring project design progress
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical solutions
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure designs meet standards
• Stay up to date with industry trends and contribute to R&D efforts within IMEG
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work and identify risks
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
