Tesla Laboratories seeks an Electrical Engineer to support NAVFAC Northwest Design Division activities in the Puget Sound area. Responsibilities include electrical design, NEC compliance, AutoCAD drawings, and coordination with a multi-disciplinary team.

The role emphasizes project scheduling, budgeting, and technical reviews using Power BI, Project, and Excel to deliver timely, compliant design solutions for DoD and IC customers.

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year engineering degree minimum.
• Minimum of 6 years of Design Management and/or Design experience as described.
• Current U.S. Professional Engineering (P.E.) license in electrical discipline highly desirable (not required).
• Demonstrated knowledge of broad-based engineering principles applicable to multi-disciplined project design.

Responsibilities

• Perform facilities electrical engineering design tasks including sizing services, transformers, and distribution systems.
• Coordinate with team members to execute scope, manage schedules, and track budgets.
• Create project technical dashboard reports using Power BI, Project, and Excel.
• Review drawings, reports, submittals, and cost proposals for compliance.
• Provide technical reviews and recommendations to minimize project delays.
