Job summary

Tesla Laboratories seeks a Structural Engineer to support NAVFAC Northwest Design Division, delivering analysis and design for buildings and waterfront structures using UFC, IBC and ASCE 7. The role supports NAVFAC workloads on Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects in the Puget Sound area.

You will coordinate with government clients and project teams, create dashboards in Power BI and Excel, review reports and submittals, and provide timely technical recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• Minimum of 6 years of design management/experience on relevant projects.
• PE license in structural discipline desirable.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and design of buildings and waterfront structures per UFC/IBC/ASCE 7.
• Coordinate with team members, manage schedules and budgets.
• Prepare technical dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
• Review reports, submittals, and change proposals for compliance.
