Job summary

Tesla Laboratories, a SDVOSB, is seeking a Structural Engineer to support NAVFAC Northwest design services in the Puget Sound area. The role involves structural analysis and design of buildings, piers, and waterfront structures using UFC, IBC, and ASCE 7 standards.

The engineer will coordinate with government clients and NAVFAC teams, manage schedules and budgets, create technical dashboards, review submittals, and prepare briefs and reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus is required.
• Minimum 6 years of design management/experience constructing the described structures.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in structural discipline is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of building vertical and lateral systems.
• Coordinate with team members; manage schedules and budgets.
• Create project dashboards using Power BI, Project, and Excel.
