Job summary

ASR International Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide design technical support for NAVFAC Northwest in the Puget Sound area of Washington. The role focuses on facilities electrical design, power distribution, lighting, and related systems in a full-time capacity.

You will review and develop electrical designs, ensure NEC compliance, and prepare drawings and reports using AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to pass a T1 security background check.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of six (6) years of design management and/or design experience.
• Demonstrated experience with facilities electrical design and the National Electrical Code.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and support facilities electrical engineering design, including service sizing, transformers, secondary distribution, overcurrent devices, branch circuits, feeders, lighting calculations, and lighting layouts.
• Evaluate designs for compliance with the National Electrical Code, DoD UFC, and project requirements.
• Develop and review drawings and product specifications using AutoCAD.
• Provide technical recommendations and coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
• Prepare technical reports and support project status reporting.
