Job summary

ASR International Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide design technical support for NAVFAC Northwest, focusing on facilities electrical design, power distribution, lighting and related systems in the Puget Sound area. This full-time role requires U.S.

citizenship, the ability to pass a T1 security background check, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and a minimum of six years of design management or design experience with NEC compliance, AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required; green card holders are not eligible.
• Ability to pass a T1 security background check.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of six (6) years of design management and/or design experience.
• Demonstrated experience with facilities electrical design and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and support facilities electrical engineering design, including service sizing, transformers, secondary distribution, overcurrent devices, branch circuits, feeders, lighting calculations, and lighting layouts.
• Evaluate designs for compliance with the National Electrical Code, DoD UFC, and project requirements.
• Develop and review drawings and product specifications using AutoCAD.
• Provide technical recommendations and coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
• Prepare technical reports and support project status reporting.
