Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to design mixed-signal, high-speed circuits and PCBs for embedded systems. The role emphasizes robust PCB design, signal integrity, and collaboration across engineering disciplines.

You will work on DFx processes, contribute to design reviews, and travel to customer sites as needed. A 6+ year background in defense electronics and active Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in analog, digital, and power circuitry.
• Extensive PCB design experience with Altium Designer.
• U.S. Citizenship with active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design analog, digital, RF, and power circuitry.
• Develop multilayer PCBs and layer stackups.
• Create BOMs and fabrication/assembly documentation.
• Test hardware and support integration into deliverables.
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and software engineering teams.
• Present designs at PDR/CDR reviews and incorporate feedback.
