Job summary

Stillpoint AEC is seeking an Electrical Engineer with current experience designing electrical systems for buildings within an MEP/AEC environment. This role focuses on power distribution, lighting, and life-safety systems, with leadership in preparation of plans and specifications.

The successful candidate will collaborate with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and structural teams, provide technical guidance, and support project delivery through design development and construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred.
• Experience with building electrical systems in MEP/AEC environments.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates considered.
• Proficiency with design platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, AGi32, Visual Lighting.

Responsibilities

• Design building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, grounding, and LV systems.
• Perform electrical load, voltage drop, short-circuit studies, and equipment sizing.
• Develop diagrams, schedules, lighting layouts, and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Prepare calculations, reports, plans, and construction documents.
